Last Share Out: 10/19/13

Hey everyone,

Its the last share out!! Please come down Saturday from 12:30-2:00 to get your veggies.

Bring some extra bags because tomorrow we anticipate that you will receive:

cider
bok choi
endive
broccoli rabe
parsnips
potatoes
tomatoes
butternut squash
peppers

And possible choices:
husk cherries
sweet potatoes
fennel
radishes
white turnip

Harvest starts at 8:30 and prep at 10.

And don’t forget about the Fall Night on the Farm and Annual Pot Luck!! Events starting at 4!

Group A: Your last CSA share is on Saturday

Hi everybody – Bring a couple of bags because you’re getting a lot of stuff.
You’ll probably receive:
  • onions
  • potatoes
  • sweet potatoes
  • a winter squash
  • a garlic bulb
  • parsnips
  • broccoli raab
  • a choice of kale, chard, mizuna, or baby endive
  • bok choi
  • tomatoes (green and ripening)
  • choice of cherry tomatoes or husk cherries
  • cider from High Hill Orchard (unpasteurized!)
2 (?) choices of the following:
  • eggplant
  • peppers (hot and not hot)
  • salsa mix
  • carrots
  • beets
  • beans
  • arugula (there’s not much – get here early if you want this!)
  • lettuce
  • radishes

*PLEASE*  When you pick up your share remember to check off your name!
NOTE!!  We will be donating food after midday on Sunday if you do not show
up and we do not hear from you.  If something comes up, we are happy to
hold your food in a cooler if arrangements are made.  We simply don’t want
to waste any food that all of you work so hard to raise!

If you need to switch your pick-up week or cancel please let us know by Thursday morning so we don’t harvest more than needed.  Also, there is a clipboard in the hoophouse on which you can tell us about a future switch if need be.
